Steve Dalachinsky and Jim Leftwich Steve Dalachinsky’s poems have appeared in journals on and off-line such as, Big Bridge, Xpressed, Evergreen Review, Blue Beat Jacket, Unbearable Assemblage Magazines, and Lost and Found Times; and in the anthologies: Beat Indeed, The Haiku Moment and Outlaw Bible of American Poetry. His most recent books include Lautreamont's Laments (2005), In Glorious Black and White (2005), St. Lucie (2005), Are We Not MEN & Fake Book (2005), Dream Book (2005), Musicology (2006) and The Final Nite: Complete Notes from a Charles Gayle Notebook 1987-2006 (2006). His 1999 CD, Incomplete Direction, a collection of his poetry read in collaboration with various musicians (William Parker, Matthew Shipp, Daniel Carter, Sabir Mateen, Susie Ibarra, Thurston Moore, and Vernon Reid) was much praised. Jim Leftwich is a theorist and critical writer in the area of avant-garde poetry and writing. His work is textual, conceptual and/or visual. Among these is Dirt (1995), Khawatir (1995), Sound Dirt (in collaboration with John M. Bennett, 1995), Gnommonclature (in collaboration with Jeffrey Little, 1996), Plasm, Plasm, Plasm (1997), Sepher Viscera (1997 in collaboration with Jake Berry, 1997), The Passion of Indifference (1997), Improvisations, Transformations (1998), Sample Example (1998), Doubt (2000), Death Text (2005), Myesis (2006).
